Let Ann Coulter Speak!
Ann Coulter, the conservative American political commentator and writer, recently cancelled an appearance to speak at the University of Ottawa, and it's sparked a firestorm of controversy.
Ms. Coulter was scheduled to speak about “political correctness, media bias and freedom of speech” as part of a three-city Canadian tour. But a gang of angry hooligans gathered outside the hall and caused enough chaos that Coulter had to cancel.
In a recent editorial, The Globe and Mail, a Toronto-based paper, condemned the university as trying to restrain free expression.
Allan Rock, the university’s president, rejected accusations that the university had stifled free expression.
“Freedom of expression is a core value that the University of Ottawa has always promoted,” he said in a statement. “We have a long history of hosting contentious and controversial speakers on our campus.”
So what's your opinion? Personally, I don't know why people have such a problem with Ms. Coulter. She's just giving her opinons, and she always does so in an entertaining and thought-provoking way. The only people who seem to have a problem with this are usually a bunch of tree-hugging radicals.
You go, girlfriend!

Well, at least they didn't beat her on the street and break her leg, like they did to Allee Buatsch in New Orleans.
Here's the girl that the five leftist males had to gang up on to beat down:

How awful! I've been to Brennan's in New Orleans, and it's far from a low-class establishment. I guess it just goes to show that a person isn't truly safe in any environment. What a shame that we no longer live in a country where you can leave your doors unlocked.
